Hooked: Real Motion Fishing is a complex simulator that deals with fishing. This is not the first game of this kind that was prepared for Wii console owners. What sets Hooked apart from its competitors is its innovative controls. We can use Wiimote and Nunchuk for this. There is also a possibility to use a professionally made fishing rod added to the game. This item can then be combined with traditional controllers of Wii console. The release of Hooked is the responsibility of the small development studio Aksys Games. The company also developed the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the Wii console. Three different game modes have been prepared for a single player. The most interesting are the championship (Tournament Mode), in which we enter a series of fishing tournaments, competing with other champions of the sport. Not only the quantity but also the weight of the fish caught plays an important role here. The Practice Mode allows you to become familiar with all the secrets of the game, with particular emphasis on unusual controls. The player's task is to simulate all the basic movements casting the fishing rod or catching the fish that tempted the lure. The last single player mode is Time Attack Mode. It offers a more arcade approach to the subject of fishing. You have to race against time all the time. The player must also take care of proper equipment, choosing both fishing rods and the necessary lures. With the supporters of multiplayer games in mind, there is also a mode in which we play on the Internet, competing with other players. We can fish in six different locations. These are mostly huge lakes located in picturesque landscapes. One of the locations is even placed inside a water-filled crater, which was created many millennia ago by a meteorite impact. In terms of graphics, Hooked is similar to its competitors. The action can be observed from many different views.
