Game description:
KeeperRL is a strategy game with RPG and roguelike elements, clearly inspired by such games as Dungeon Keeper and Dwarf Fortress. It was developed by an indie studio Electric Succubi founded by Michal Brzozowski. PlotKeeperRL is set in a fantasy world. We play as a wizard practicing dark magic. To concquer the surface world we must create a vast mazelike dungeon and hire hordes of minions to work and fight for us, destroying any an all aspiring adventurers trying to put an end to our ambitions. MechanicsKeeperRL makes use of the top-down perspective. We'll spend most of our time underground, drilling tunnels and rooms, employing creatures willing to work, enslaving less willing ones, training soldiers, producing weapons and armor. That's not all, as to prevail over the surface we must research new technologies, dabble in alchemy, learn new spells and experiment on living creatures. Eventually, heroic adventurers will delve into our dungeon, forcing us to send our troops against them and place traps everywhere. After gathering enough soldiers we can release them to the surfaceto raze and pillage villages and other dungeons, facing witches and powerful dragons. Combat is turn-based, requiring tactical sense and good use of our units' strengths. On the battlefield we can attack, defend and debuff enemies with statuses, such as blinding and poison. Advanced systems ensure the game's world functions properly. Our units use items we equip them with, forest fires spread uncontrollably and can even reach our dungeon. All of our troops have individual traits which affect their behavior and potential; in extreme cases they can even get us into big trouble. Game modesKeeperRL only supports singleplayer.
