Japanese Drift Master is a drift-focused racing game revolving around intentionally losing traction but retaining control over one's car, driving through corners in a sliding fashion. It was developed by Polish studio Gaming Factory. PlotJapanese Drift Master is set in Japan, near the fictional Lake Haikama. We play as a foreigner here to prove himself on the Japanese drifting scene and become champion. MechanicsJapanese Drift Master is an open-world game. The player explores various regions, such as picturesque valleys, mountains and urbanized areas, participating in races emphasizing style over speed. To achieve high scores we must drift on corners, chain drifts together and keep our car at the highest possible angle. Although the controls are arcade in nature, the cars behave fairly realistically, reacting appropriately to the movement of our virtual steering wheel. Progressing through the game rewards us with money, which can be spent on purchasing new cars or tuning already owned ones (such as changing their color or rebuilding them completely). Though the game is not officially licensed, it's easy to identify real-life counterparts of in-game vehicles. Game modesJapanese Drift Master supports singleplayer and online multiplayer. Technical aspectsThe visuals of Japanese Drift Master are decent, with locations and car models being especially appealing.
