The player takes control of several independently operating (but interconnected) cities. One's task is to expand the settlements and take care of the needs of their inhabitants. For this purpose, more than 120 buildings can be erected. In addition, 48 new technologies can be developed to improve the performance of a small metropolis during the game. During the game, players can produce 15 different types of goods, which they can then distribute among the residents or sell. Cliff Empire features a system of dynamic weather changes, which also affects the economic situation. Game modesCliff Empire offers only the single player mode. Players have 15 story missions at their disposal, for the completion of which new locations are unlocked. Additionally, players can enjoy the sandbox mode.
