Game description:
Forever Skies is an independent Polish survival FPP action game inspired by Cracow's smog. This is the debut of Far From Home studio, which was founded by a group of developers previously working on such productions as Dead Island, The Medium, Dying Light, Chernobylite and Divinity: Original Sin. PlotForever Skies is set in the future where the Earth has been ruined by a weather cataclysm. As a result, the ground is covered with a thick layer of toxic fumes. However, some people are still scavenging the deserted cities, including the scientist we control. The protagonist must leave a safe deck of the sky ship in search of a cure for the disease ravaging the survivors. The Polish team was inspired by the scientists' opinions on the state of the air in Krakow and man-made climate change. Surprisingly, these reports were received with indifference by the public. So the studio wanted to use their debut project to draw the audience's attention to these problems. Game mechanicsForever Skies uses many schemes typical for the genre. The action is observed from a first-person perspective, and our task is to survive in a hostile environment. At the same time we explore and research the game world to find a way to deal with the mysterious disease plaguing the rest of the human population. To face the challenges of post-apocalyptic reality, we have to produce items and set up temporary bases. We also won't do without weapons, because in toxic fumes hides an unknown threat.
