The latter was an unorthodox hybrid of a card game and a fighting game. This means that all arenas and characters are three-dimensional, but the battles are fought in two dimensions. The warriors can move to the left and to the right, and they can jump or crouch. The number of attacks is quite limited and the combos are rather easy to perform. However, the game was developed with tournaments in mind, so although it is easy to learn the basics, mastering the game requires time and skills. It is worth mentioning that Fantasy Strike was originally designed for PC and because of that, it can be comfortably played with a keyboard.
