Causa, Voices of the Dusk is a card game set in a fantasy universe in which players recreate the forgotten history of a place called Astraria. The chosen cards and strategic decisions that influence the chance of success and the story being shaped are important here. The game was developed and released by Niebla Games an independent studio from Chile (this is the debut project of this developer). PlotThe action of Causa, Voices of the Dusk takes place in the hut of a sorcerer named Maelkava. He invites the hero to play a magical card game that aims to stop a sinister, supernatural force called Dawn. In the course of the game we get to know the stories connected with the land of Astraria, playing as the leaders of various factions. However, we are never sure when these stories happened and whether this place still exists. MechanicsIn Causa, Voices of the Dusk, our task is to defeat the rival whose cards are on the other side of the game table. We use our own deck for this purpose, which develops as we progress. We have four cards in our hands at any time, and in a single round we can usually play two of them. It is worth noting that every action requires an appropriate level of indicator called Cause and we may not be able to use one. Several other concepts representing 4 Powers in in the world Glory, Spirit, Influence and Wealth are connected to this mysterious statistic.
