Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a humorous adventure game, being a part of the popular series, started in 1993 by Simon the Sorcerer. It was developed by Italian studio Smallthing, and the production team was headed by Massimiliano Calamai, the developer who held that role in the creation of Fightin' Spirit; one of the best fighting games released on Amiga computers. PlotAs the title suggests, Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a prequel. The action starts a few weeks before the events from the first part. The game tells the story of how Simon found himself in the magical world and shows the circumstances of meeting the sorcerer Calypso. The boy accidentally activates an ancient prophecy, the consequences of which may threaten the entire land. In accordance with the traditions of the series, the game is a humorous game, full of sarcastic humor which is a trademark of the brand. Game mechanicsSimon the Sorcerer Origins is a classic point&click adventure game. We explore the world, talk, collect items and solve puzzles. The authors took care of a large variety of puzzles. Apart from typical challenges requiring the use of a specific object on a given object, there are also ingenious riddles and other puzzle challenges. Game modeThe game offers only single player mode.
