Gear Up for PC is an online third person shooter game in which players compete against each other piloting battle machines of their own design. The game has been developed by the independent Swedish Doctor Entertainment, known for creating Puzzle Dimension. Gear Up is based on the free-to-play business model. MechanicsUpon starting the game, one has to create his own machine using a set of components. There are countless options to customize a machine a player can decide on the appearance of his machine as well as the weapons, mobility, and additional bonuses. According to developers, the game allows a player to try over half a million customization options, however creating the perfect machine is impossible. Each one features different parameters, which might work both in favor and against player?s tactics these mechanics ensure players to test multiple variations of their machines in the battlefield.
