Identity V is a multiplayer action game with horror traits. It was developed by NetEase in cooperation with Behaviour Interactive (the creators of Dead by Daylight, a game that is available on PC and consoles). The game was developed for mobile devices. PlotThe main protagonist of Identity V is a detective that is attempting to solve the mystery of the vanishing of a girl. While searching for the missing girl, the protagonist enters an abandoned mansion. While traveling through its rooms, he collects pieces of information about the events that occurred here in the past. The players can see these events with their own eyes by assuming the role of one of a few killers or by becoming one of the victims that are trying to run away. One of the players assumes the role of the killer while the other players are playing as the victims. Among the available hunters, there is a former owner of a factory, a circus clown, an artist that looks like the legendary Slenderman, and a terrifying guardian of the forest. Among the victims, there is a gardener, a lawyer, a nurse, a thief, and a soldier. No matter which side the player is on, he or she can use the unique skills of specific characters. These skills improve the chances for survival of each victim, but they also make it easier for the killers to hunt.
