Ghost Song is a 2D metroidvania action game with detailed, atmospheric sci-fi locations and varied combat with encountered aliens. It was developed by Old Moon, an independent studio, and published by Humble Games. PlotOn the moon Lorian V wakes up from a long sleep Deadsuit armed and ready to fight, but deprived of memories and purpose. We take on the role of the protagonist and explore the nooks and crannies of a dark, alien and hostile world, encountering ancient remains and secrets and defeating powerful creatures to discover or remember the truth about this place and ourselves. We are not the only ones lost, we meet other characters on our way and learn their stories. Game mechanicsWe travel through vast, interconnected locations, sometimes jumping on platforms, defeating enemies and unlocking access to other areas, sometimes well hidden. While fighting and exploring we gain new weapons (both ranged and cold), ammunition and upgrades to them and to our suit.
