Game description:
It is 1939. World War II has not yet broken out, but the global conflict can be felt in the air. The British are not aware of the secret pact between the Soviet Union and the Third Reich, which is why they are grasping every means to get to know the situation. When one of the intercepted German reports falls into the hands of the MI5, the situation becomes serious. It turns out that Dr. John Burton one of the eminent scientists and occult experts can cooperate with the enemy. The British would eagerly interrogate the scientist suspected of collaborating, but the scientist falls into the water like a stone. Taking into account the mysterious traces found in his London office, the MI5 agency decides to call an archaeological expert and an adventurer in one person, the Jones Indiana. Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth is a classic adventure game, produced by an independent studio Screen 7. The product refers to great hits from the turn of the eighties and nineties Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and (above all) Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Links with the latter title can be seen mainly in the game interface, which was removed from the achievements of LucasArts programmers. The player directs Indiana Jones' actions with the mouse by selecting commands from the list (nine commands are available). Interaction with the environment is done by indicating the function and clicking on the screen (point & click). The inventory, located in the lower part of the screen, was also solved in the same way. As in any adventure game, also in Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth we will solve numerous puzzles, collect items and look for their proper use, as well as talk to independent heroes the very extensive dialogue options deserve attention, which are permeated with a specific sense of humour. The authors approached the project very carefully, creating from scratch all the locations (there is even an option to play in low resolution), characters and the music track.
