Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade turned out to be such a profitable topic for LucasArts that it was decided to make not one, but two games based on the third part of the film adventures of the title archaeologist. Thus, not only the adventure game was published, but also the classic platforming game, in which more emphasis was put on the arcade character of the game. As you can easily guess, the game is closely based on the events from the original film, especially those in which there was a lot of fast action. Indiana Jones will have to cross the caves and conquer the cross of Coronado, escape from the bandits by jumping on the rooftops of a rushing train, survive the rat attack in the Venetian dungeons, leave the German manhunt in the castle, take control of the airship, and of course pass all the tests during the final battle of St. Grail. The game was divided into four large stages, and those in turn into two smaller ones. The player can use objects found here and there, e.g. a torch illuminating the darkness, or an inseparable attribute of Indiana Jones the whip. The latter will be especially useful for the extermination of numerous opponents. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Action Game is a product far worse than its "adventure" brother. The audio-visual setting is good, but the skillful character of the gameplay did not work well for the product, mainly due to the high level of difficulty. It is also annoying that the authors did not think about any codes for the stages. Starting the game every time from the beginning is extremely tiring.
